The World to Me

JE has amazing conversational ability.  She communicates well and I hear about other 2 year olds who have massive melt downs due to communication issues.  We have them, but not really for that.  So some words lately that are just cute and melt my heart...

JE to Mom: You the best in whole wide world.

JE to Dad: Hi dad
Dad:  Hi JE, I love you
JE:  Love you  too.  Bye Dad.

JE to worker at store:  Hi.  Thank ewe vewy much.  Bye.

JE to mom:  Thanks mom.

JE about a witch a smoky cauldron:  The wish is making soup.  It's hot.

JE just has a joyous personality.  She keeps us all smiling.

Stockyard Birthday

This year our birthday trip was to the Stockyards in Fort Worth.  We went the day after my Color Me Rad Run with friends.

Cupcakes

So I'm making cupcakes for JC's class and I need to save them al for the class and as I'm icing them this is the conversation I have with JE:

JE:  I want a cupcake.

Me:  Well, the's are for JC's class, so we can't eat them.

JE:  I want a cupcake.

Me:  We made brownies.  You can have a brownie and I have leftover icing and sprinkles I can put on top.

JE:  And a cupcake on top?

She doesn't miss a thing.  :-)

Downtown Girls

Raiding the Rails again.  This time to go to the Children's Museum.

Went with a friend that's moving.

Cool yogurt shop close by with the most awesome artsy walls.

JE LOVED making pizza and asked to do it again the next day!!

JC and I headed to the Microsoft Store to do a Daisy only activity!  Loved spending time alone with her.  We even shopped a little in the Domain!

Occasionally I'm without the kids!  That's rare!  I hiked Enchanted Rock with another girl scout leader while we were on a planning retreat.
