Today I assisted with Children's Church today and heard this conversation:
Boy 1: Hey you live in Block House! (This is the name of a subdivision here.)
Boy 2: Yeah, I do!
JM: I live in a brick house!
(This still conversation still makes me giggle. She had no clue they were talking about a subdivision name. Later I decided to have a conversation about different building materials with her as our house is actually limestone. So we pointed out houses or fences that were wood, stone, metal, or brick.)

What I heard in the car:
JM: Hey, JC, you thinking what I am thinking?!
JC: (shakes her head no, very solemn)
JM: Yes you are! I bet you're thinking what I'm thinking!
JC: What are you thinking? (still serious)
JM: I am thinking about how I want to go to that park with all the sand and build a big hole all around this island, then climb on top and build all these towers, that's what I am thinking about.
JC: That's not what I am thinking about. (still serious)

Today in the house my hubby took down this wooden panel that goes above my window. I really didn't want him to take it down. I really liked it, but I guess he wanted to see what it would look like without the panel. So here is my conersaion with JM after hubby and I discussed the panel and he of course is acting like he's not putting it back.
JM: Oh no, what are we gonna do!?
Me: Well, hopefully Daddy will heed my warning. Do you think he'll heed my warning?
JM: No, I think he will 'cold' your warning.
Me: Cold my warning?
JM: Yes..(then she raises her hand up to her mouth like she's telling me a secret but still talking in her regular voice) ..That means he's not going to do what you want.
(What amused me about this conversation was that even though she was mis-hearing the word I was using and her word was then the opposite of the misheard word, she did understand the meaning of the original word and gave her word the opposite meaning of that original word..follow that?)
